**Pending COE Approval**

The Office Technician program is designed to train students with little to no office skills to work in an entry level office setting. Students heavily review English and math skills that are very much needed in business. Students build keyboarding and 10-key skills, draft professional emails using appropriate formatting, and gain confidence in their phone skills including answering the phone, taking messages, and leaving appropriate voicemail messages. Students receive basic computer training using industry standard software. Students create professional habits by attending various monthly meetings, presenting themselves as professional, creating resumes for different jobs, and preparing and attending monthly job interviews.

Graduates will have employment opportunities that include data entry specialists, customer service representatives, general office clerks, information clerks, receptionists, tellers, dispatchers.
