ABOUT UBTECH

Located in the Uintah Basin, Uintah Basin Technical College has offered practical education since 1968 as the first technical school in Utah. Our main campus is located in Roosevelt, with an extension campus in Vernal. Uintah Basin Technical College offers convenient schedules, competency-based learning, and training opportunities in high-demand fields.

  • Adult Students – We have multiple accredited college programs for adult students to help them gain the skills to start or advance in their careers.
  • Secondary Students – High school students can dual enroll in classes that count toward high school CTE credit and also towards college credit.

  • Community Classes – We also offer short community and employer training classes, for personal development or for work training purposes.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance. The College is bound by, and supports, all applicable laws. The Title IX of the Higher Education Act of 1972 ensures the College does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs and the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (SAVE) of 2013 and Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (VAWA) ensures that colleges and universities implement policies and programs to prevent sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
